Khansons Textiles Limited (KTL) is one of the leading textile manufacturing companies under Khansons Group and the second-largest spinning mill in Southern Bangladesh. Established in 1995 and located at Kawnia, Barishal, the company specializes in the production of premium-quality cotton yarn for international markets. Originally established as Barisal Textile Mills, a government-owned textile mill with an installed capacity of 25,000 spindles, the facility was acquired by Khansons Group under the Government’s privatization and disinvestment program. Following the acquisition, the mill was modernized, initially renamed 5R Limited, and later rebranded as Khansons Textiles Limited (KTL).
To enhance productivity and product quality, the company undertook a comprehensive Balancing, Modernization, Rehabilitation, and Expansion (BMRE) program. During this transformation, the original Romanian machinery was replaced with advanced equipment sourced from Germany, China, and Japan, significantly improving operational efficiency and increasing production capacity. Today, KTL is recognized as a 100% export-oriented spinning mill, producing high-quality cotton yarn for leading textile and apparel manufacturers around the world.
